I love weaving tiny cylindrical glass beads into interesting geometric shapes. This necklace features 5 metallic hues woven into triangles of varying sizes and patterns.
To create this piece, I constructed 5 triangles. The largest in the center measures about 1-and-1/2 inch. The smallest triangle at each end measures just under 1 inch. The colors fade from silver to gold to copper to bronze to hematite and back again.
All of the triangles are connected to each other using sterling silver rings. The ends of the triangle "chain" are connected to a sterling silver cable chain. There is a trigger clasp for closure. The necklace is about 17 inches in length.
This necklace is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art and will not be made again.
