The Prairie Flower Statement Necklace is actually the piece that inspired the entire Praire collection. To create this piece, I created floral conchos with crystals in the center. Each "flower" is handwoven and stitched together with a leaflike chain between the conchos. The "chain" is also handwoven.
The colors in this palette are perfect for any season; they range from deep metallic olive to a shimmering burgundy to pale pink and green. The accents are a metallic bronze.
This necklace is meant to be worn as a collar length, so it runs a bit on the shorter side. From end to end, it measures just over 17 inches in length. The center flower measures about 1-and-1/2 inch and the smaller flowers are about 1-and-1/4 inch. The clasp is a lead-safe and nickel-free oxidized brass toggle.
