I love weaving tiny cylindrical glass beads into interesting geometric shapes. I also love creating cool symmetrical patterns that allow for visual interest while still being very versatile and wearable.
To create this piece, I hand-stitched 6 triangles. The two largest in the center measure about 1-and-1/4 inch each. The smallest triangle at each end measures about 1 inch. The colors alternate between silver, gold, and copper.
All of the triangles are stitched together to create a bib-like appearance in the front. The ends of the triangle "chain" are connected to a sterling silver cable chain. There is a trigger clasp for closure. The necklace is about 17 inches in length.
This necklace is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art and will not be made again.
