The Prairie Flower Statement Necklace is actually the piece that inspired the entire Praire collection. To create this piece, I created puffed floral components that are woven together into a simple V-shape designed to follow the collarbone.
The colors in this palette are perfect for any season; they range from deep metallic olive to a shimmering burgundy to pale pink and green. The accents are a metallic bronze.
This necklace is meant to be worn as a collar length, so it runs a bit on the shorter side. From end to end, it measures 17 inches in length. The flowers are about 1-and-1/4 inch in length and the woven chain in the back is under 1/2 inch in width. The clasp is a lead-safe and nickel-free oxidized brass toggle.
