Inspired by the Tucson Vista necklace featured on the cover of the August/September 2017 issue of Beadwork magazine, the Southwest Sunset collection uses the same color palette and techniques, but with a simplicity that allows for everyday wear.
This necklace features a genuine Swarovski crystal stone that is held into place by the tension from the beadweaving around it. The colors fade from purple to blue to fiery bronze to matte gold. There are matte hematite accents. The pendant itself measures about 1-and-1/2 inch in width and is approximately 2 inches long.
The pendant hangs from a gunmetal plated brass chain. It measures a little over 8 inches on one side and just over 11 inches on the other, making it adjustable up to about 20 inches. There is a gunmetal trigger clasp for closure. All metals used are lead safe and nickel free.
