It's no secret that the Southwest Collection color palette is one of my favorites. It started with the Tucson Vista pieces featured on the cover of Beadwork magazine in August/September 2017. Then I slowly started adding more simple bracelets and earrings to the mix.
My newest addition to the Tucson Vista/Southwest Sunset collection is called the Navajo bracelet. This is the first time I have used very traditional beadweaving techniques (odd count peyote with picot edging, to be specific) with my favorite new-ish beads, Czech glass SuperDuos. I absolutely LOVE the result!
This bracelet measures just over 1 inch in width and is about 8 inches in length. It is best suited for someone with a 7-and-1/2" wrist. There is a gold pewter toggle clasp for closure. All metals used in this piece are lead safe and nickel free.
