Project # 3 out of 6 in my 2018 Designer of the Year series for Beadwork magazine, the Sedona Sunset bracelet is one of my favorites. It features two different sizes of turquoise howlite beads, two colors of SuperDuos, and a dash of Miyuki seed beads around the edges. The result of weaving these materials together is a stunning piece reminiscent of Native American jewelry design.
This project is on the intermediate/advanced level. You will want to have some knowledge of working with circular peyote stitch and with using two needles at once.
What's included in the kit:
8mm Turquoise Howlite Gemstone Beads
4mm Turquoise Howlite Gemstone Beads
11/0 Miyuki Copper Plate Seed Beads
TierraCast Toggle Clasp
What's not included, but necessary for completion of the project:
6LB Beading Thread (I use WildFire)
Size 11 Beading Needles
PLEASE NOTE: This kit does not contain a downloadable PDF. You must have a copy of the magazine to get the instructions and illustrations for this project. The digital version is available for purchase here:
